A also have 2 455w panels wired up to the inverter and when I turn it on, the solar icon doesn't show up on the Growatt display. The wiring seems secure and I get the correct voltage when connecting my voltmeter to the panels.
I don't see an icon for my solar panels. Why is that? You need a CT clamp on the solar feed to your consumer unit connected to either the Zappi or Eddi to see your solar, without one the zappi and Eddi will see export on the grid and use it. Thanks for the response. Much appreciated.
The icon and lights on the solar controller flash or change color for the solar panels, battery, and loads that are explained as fellow. Solar panel flashing green light When the solar controller detects solar energy input, the PV icon and light will blink for a few seconds, and then enter a stable state.
Solar charge controller battery icon flashing means that the battery is not charging properly, which may be caused by insufficient battery power, charging problem, ambient light change, controller malfunction or bad weather conditions. Solar battery light blinking yellow means the battery is charged.
What does a solar charge controller battery blinking green mean?
solar charge controller battery blinking green means the battery is fully charged and in a saturated state, A flashing red battery light means the battery is undercharged and needs to be recharged in time. Solar controller loads are small DC devices that can be powered directly by a solar battery.
Why is my solar panel flashing green?

The screen will not light up and the indicator light will not light up if the solar regulator does not detect the solar input. If the solar input is unstable or the pressure is too high, the solar panel light will blink yellow or red to indicate that the solar input is not stable.
