Since the implementation of solar grid-connected EG in 2000, the installed capacity of solar PV worldwide today has increased by nearly 320 times (EPIA, 2019).The number of PV plants added in 2018 exceeded 100 GW for the first time (EPIA, 2019), and the cumulative number exceeded 500 GW, which satisfied 2.6% of the global electricity demand (IEA, 2019).
Depending on the technologies, the number of jobs that can be created by solar energy plants are 7.2–43.7 MW −1. Relative to nuclear, geothermal, and coal based energy plants, solar and wind energy can generate 2.5 and 5.4 times more employment, respectively (Scheer, 1995). This suggests that socio-economic gains of solar and wind energy
The transition from coal-fired power plants to solar energy is particularly crucial. Coal is the dirtiest fossil fuel, emitting the most CO2 per unit of energy. By adopting solar power, nations can significantly decrease their dependence on coal, directly impacting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution.

The current need is to shift from conventional fossil fuel plants to mix clean source of energy. The promotion of alternative environmental friendly fuels can play a vital role to mitigate the CO 2 emission and favor economic growth. However to cut down the world CO 2 emissions from 42 Gt to 39 Gt, the worldwide investment in renewable energy sector assets need to be
Solar collectors are the heat exchangers that convert solar energy either to thermal energy of working fluid or electrical energy for solar thermal and photovoltaic applications, respectively. In solar thermal applications, solar radiation absorbed by the solar collector as heat is transferred to circulating working fluid (water, air, oil, etc.), and heat is carried by the fluid

However, installing solar energy systems on land that has marginal agricultural value or integrating solar energy systems on farms may provide a variety of economic and environmental benefits to farmers. Some solar power plants may require water for cleaning solar collectors and concentrators or for cooling turbine generators.
The findings of the performed study could increase the utilization rate of photovoltaic energy by ensuring it is a secure sustainable low-carbon emission resource, while also reducing the impact of climate change on the planet and promoting individual well-being and social development. 1. Introduction
Sustainable development of large-scale PV power plants in desert areas Due to their elevated radiation levels and affordable land prices, desert regions have emerged as pivotal places for the establishment of expansive new energy facilities (Wu et al., 2014).
The results show that the potential for large-scale PV power plants in China's deserts is significant, with 69.4 % of the region assessed as medium or higher.
Visual impact typically depends on the area of installation and a negative impact is anticipated especially for large PV projects. Most of the PV power plants are installed in rural areas, hence, their negative influence on the landscape is significant (Torres-Sibille et al., 2009).
These findings indicate the essential role played by the construction of photovoltaic power stations in ecological environmental governance in desert areas. This impact is mainly attributed to the influence on the microclimate and the soil, plant, and microbial communities in these regions.
However, complementary PV plants have the lowest efficiencies most likely because of high operating temperatures during the process of power generation. 1. Introduction The world's population is growing, and meeting the increasing energy demands while managing environmental, social, and economic issues is one of the greatest challenges of our time.
